Depending on the products and their properties, processed materials and individual work steps, special machines should help to increase profitability, productivity and quality. In this context, it is important that the special machines are professionally planned and set up equally reliably.

WORKPIECE

CARRIER CIRCULATING SYSTEM

The workpiece carriers circulate in a circuit consisting of two accumulation roller conveyors one above the other (upper and lower conveying level) and two chain conveyors, each mounted on a lifting station.

Conveying direction, on the upper level, is from right to left, on the lower level from left to right. On the upper level, the workpiece carriers are loaded with goods to be processed. The workpiece carriers reach the beginning of processing through the lower level in order to be loaded.

Two lifting stations transport the workpiece carriers between the two conveyor levels.

VOLUME

OPTIMIZER

Before they are automatically closed, the open cartons, including the protruding goods, pass through the volume optimiser to reduce the volume in the carton. For this purpose, the goods are folded by a pneumatic folding device and pressed into the carton.

AUTOMATIC STACKER AND DE-STACKER

AMI’s automatic stackers and de-stackers can be equipped with different drives depending on the requirements. Pneumatically driven machines achieve hourly outputs of 1,000 to 1,500 cycles. Automatic machines

with servomotor-driven lifting axes and frequency converter-driven belt conveyors achieve outputs of up to 2,400 cycles.

AUTOMATED LIDDING SYSTEM

Automatisierte Verdeckelungsanlage.png

AMI’s lidding machines enable containers with mostly picked goods to be closed quickly. The lid stacks fed into the machine are brought to the right level (height) using a lifting axis. For this purpose, a light barrier scans the edge of the top lid. The containers positioned next to the fed lid stack for lidding pass through the machine on a second cycled conveyor line.

A handling unit, consisting of a swivelling axis, a horizontal axis, and a double suction crossbeam, picks up the top lid and places it on the container. At the same time, the other side of the crossbeam picks up the next lid. A unique machine feature is that it can handle two containers of different heights.

PALLETS

AUTOMATIC DE-STACKER/STACKER

The compact pallet unstacking / stacking machine PESA-15 is used for unstacking or stacking Euro pallets. The pallets can be automatically fed in individually by a conveyor line or individual pallets in a stack

be summarized. The pallet can be advanced either via a driven roller conveyor (ARF80 / 89) or a driven chain conveyor (KF).

TIPPING DEVICE

W0A1236.jpg

The goods are fed lying to the tipping device via our conveyors. A carton provided by a robot has already been folded open and is waiting here.

A sensor system detects whether the carton is in the correct position before the tipping device is set up at an angle of approx. 45°, and the goods are conveyed into the carton.

As soon as the carton is upright, it is transported away via our 24 V conveyor system and the tipping device returns to its original position.

MORE DYNAMIC

GOODS STORE DWS-2100

The Dynamic Goods Storage DWS-2100 is used exclusively for conveying and stowing shipping objects (polybags, packages, parcels, etc.). The dynamic goods storage serves as storage space for storing a maximum of 80 kg. The max. weight per shipping object (parcel, bag) must not exceed 32 kg. The machine is controlled via the connected control system and works automatically. No operator is necessary.

The DWS adjusts the fill level with an automatic winding and unwinding unit. The DWS is mobile and can be folded to save space. Thus, if the dynamic goods storage is not needed, it can be stored separately from the system.
