LIGHT CONVEYOR TECHNOLOGY
INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR PRODUCTION AND SHIPPING
Wherever it is important to make production and shipping processes efficient and economical, components and systems from AMI light conveyor technology are the right choice / expedient. With the special conveyor technology for light goods - transported in containers or boxes - intralogistics processes can be optimized in almost all sectors, for example in mechanical engineering, in the automotive industry, in medical technology, in pharmaceutical trade as well as in e-commerce and in the paper and plastics industry .
Like all conveyor systems and plants from AMI, the light conveyor technology is also based on a sophisticated modular system of components, modules and
intelligent control systems and a wide range of standardized accessories.
With a service package tailored to the respective requirements, the AMI experts ensure professional, rapid and targeted project implementation for both standard systems and individual conveyor systems. The range of services extends from consulting and planning through design and manufacture to assembly and commissioning. The comprehensive AMI service and maintenance offer ensures the highest level of system availability, 365 days a year, around the clock.

AUTOMATIC STACKING AND DESTACKING
The stacking and unstacking machines from AMI can be equipped with different drives depending on the requirements. Pneumatically operated machines achieve hourly outputs of 1,000 to 1,500 cycles. vending machines
with lifting axes operated by servomotors and belt conveyors operated by frequency converters achieve performances of up to 2,400 cycles.

TILT DEVICE
The goods are fed to the tipping device lying above our conveyor. Here is already an unfolded box that was provided by a robot.
A sensor system detects whether the carton is in the correct position before the tilting device is raised by approx. 45° and the goods are conveyed into the carton.
As soon as the box is upright, it is transported away via our 24V conveyor system and the tipping device returns to its original position.
WORKPIECE CARRIER CIRCULATING SYSTEM
The workpiece carriers circulate in a circuit consisting of two accumulation roller conveyors one above the other (upper and lower conveying level) and two chain conveyors, each mounted on a lifting station.
Conveying direction, on the upper level, is from right to left, on the lower level from left to right. On the upper level, the workpiece carriers are loaded with goods to be processed. The workpiece carriers reach the beginning of processing through the lower level in order to be loaded.
The workpiece carriers are transported between the two conveyor levels via two lifting stations.
VOLUME OPTIMIZER
The boxes that are still open, including the protruding goods, pass through the volume optimizer before they are automatically closed in order to reduce the volume in the box.
For this purpose, the goods are folded by a pneumatic folding device and pressed into the box.
AUTOMATED SYSTEM ROOF LUNG
The lidding systems from AMI enable containers with mostly picked goods to be closed quickly. The stacks of lids fed to the machine are leveled by means of a lifting axis
brought. To do this, a light barrier scans the edge of the top cover. Those containers that are to be capped next to the retracted stack of caps pass through the machine on a second clocked conveyor line
be positioned.
A handling system consisting of a swivel axis, a horizontal axis and a double suction traverse grips the top lid and places it on the container. Simultaneously with the other
Side of the traverse the next cover already taken up again. A special feature of the machines is that they can process two containers of different heights.
PALLETS DESTACKING / STACKING AUTOMATIC PESA-15
The compact pallet unstacking / stacking machine PESA-15 is used for unstacking or stacking Euro pallets. The pallets can be automatically fed in individually by a conveyor line or individual pallets in a stack
be summarized. The pallet can be advanced either via a driven roller conveyor (ARF80 / 89) or a driven chain conveyor (KF).
